This seminar focuses concrete evaluation and protection, and post-tensioning evaluation and corrosion mitigation. Topics include:

1) Concrete evaluation & Investigation - Understanding the primary causes and the corrosion process and corrosion assessment, selecting the proper investigation techniques

2) Durable concrete protection including up to 40-year options, such as proven galvanic and impressed current cathodic protection, and electro-chemical treatment.

3) Concrete repairs and protection options and case studies, including building and bridges.

4) Post-tensioning evaluation and corrosion mitigation.

5) Heritage structure preservation

主講人簡介：

Liao Haixue, is a professional engineer registered in New York, United States of America and Ontario, Canada. He is a qualified presenter for American National Council of Structural Engineers Associations, certified continuing education program, “Evaluation, Repair, Protection and Strengthening of Existing Concrete Structures”. He is a AMPP certified cathodic protection specialist, with extensive experience in reinforced concrete evaluation, repair, strengthening and protection. He also has more than 25 years-experience in post-tensioning installation, evaluation and rehabilitation, is a committee member of Post-Tensioning Institute CRT60, DC55 and DC80. He is the president of Canada Structural Engineers Association.
